Lauren Cooper is a Senior Associate in the Mallesons Employee Relations & Safety team. She brings a wealth of experience in employment law, advising private, government, and not-for-profit clients across a broad spectrum of issues, including industrial relations and workplace safety. With a keen interest in issues related to harassment, governance and compliance, and emerging legal developments, Lauren is dedicated to advocating for her clients' rights and navigating complex legal landscapes.
Lauren has advised and represented clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Her expertise spans the entire employment lifecycle, from hiring to termination, including executive separations, transactional employment support, workplace restructuring, redundancies, and business transfers. Lauren also has experience in sensitive discrimination and harassment matters, employment related litigation, managing ill and injured workers, workplace health and safety matters, workplace investigations into workplace conduct and whistleblower disclosures, drafting employment agreements and workplace policies, and service and contractor agreements.
