Closing Loopholes reforms – A timeline

The Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Closing Loopholes) Act 2023 (Cth) was passed and received Royal Assent late last year, and the Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Closing Loopholes No. 2) Act 2024 (Cth) was passed on 12 February 2024 and received Royal Assent on 26 February 2024.

As a result all of the Closing Loopholes reforms have now become law, or soon will be.

Below are the key effective dates for all of those changes.
