Chloe is a senior lawyer in the Sydney M&A team, with over 14 years’ experience advising a range of private capital clients on their investments in and acquisitions of real assets – with a sector focus on real estate investments. More recently, she has developed a specialism in capital partnerships and other structured equity solutions in respect of real asset investments (including data centres).
Chloe has advised a range of clients across the spectrum of private capital participants, including sovereign investors, private equity sponsors, listed REITs and unlisted property managers.
Chloe’s work highlights include advising:
- Lendlease on its $2.5 billion capital partnership with Mitsubishi Estate Asia and Nippon Steel Kowa Real Estate to develop 175 Liverpool Street.
- PGIM on its capital partnership with Cadence Property Group in respect of the St Marys Intermodal.
- Charter Hall on its ~$1 billion acquisition of Southern Cross office towers in Melbourne.
- GIC on a range of matters, including its:
- capital partnership with Investa Property Group.
- capital partnership with specialist self-storage operator.
- acquisition (and subsequent disposal) of a $2.1bn interest in industrial joint venture with Dexus.
- Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan on its investment into Gateway Capital.
- The founders of Hale Capital (specialist industrial property manager) on an investment by Warburg Pincus and Oxford Properties Group.
- A range of sponsors and capital partners on the establishment of, and investment into, built-to-rent, co-living and student accommodation platforms.
