Chris Wright is Head of Energy & Infrastructure, ASEAN based in the Singapore office of Mallesons.
Chris specialises in construction, infrastructure, major projects and renewables, and brings significant international experience to Mallesons, having previously worked at several leading global firms where he acted as a trusted advisor to sponsors, lenders, and contractors on major infrastructure projects and energy transactions across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Australia.
Chris has 15 years of experience assisting clients with the drafting and negotiation of complex commercial contracts across a range of sectors, as well as advising other interested parties on project financings and acquisitions. This experience includes market leading transactions across the power, renewable energy, transport, mining and oil and gas sectors.
His expertise covers construction contracts, concession agreements, operation and maintenance contracts, power and gas offtake and sales agreements, and a range of other project-related agreements.
Chris is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales, as well as to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.
