Danny is a Senior Associate in the Melbourne Banking & Finance team. He has extensive experience advising on a broad range of financing transactions, with particular expertise in property finance, project finance, corporate finance and restructuring.
Danny acts for both sponsors and financiers, including major commercial banks and private credit funds, and advises clients across all levels of the capital structure, including senior, mezzanine and unsecured debt. He also has a strong understanding of the non-bank lending market, strengthened by his secondment with a leading Australian commercial real estate fund.
Danny’s recent work highlights include:
- Property finance – Advising financiers on the acquisition, development and residual stock financing of residential and commercial real estate assets.
- Project finance – Advising a syndicate of financiers on the development financing of the Melbourne Renewable Energy Hub, a 200MW/800MWh Battery Energy Storage System.
- Corporate finance – Advising a syndicate of financiers on the acquisition financing of an aged care portfolio and provision of subsequent capital support facilities.
- Restructuring – Advising financiers on the restructuring and enforcement of financing arrangements for a mixed purpose construction project following various insolvency events.
