Katherine has extensive construction, infrastructure and procurement delivery experience across a range of sectors including major resources and renewable projects and related energy infrastructure, infrastructure, data centres, social housing and commercial property development.
Katherine specialises in the negotiation and documentation of high value contractual arrangements including collaborative contracting, EPC, EPCM, ECI, D&C and O&M contracts and associated procurement and operations. Katherine's practice extends to large scale public infrastructure and she has significant experience in relation to PPPs and acts for a range of clients including energy companies, government departments, resources and mining companies, property and infrastructure developers.
- CBRE Investment Management on development and investment in a greenfield data centre build-to-suit development with NextDC in Tokyo.
- ESR: advising in relation to developments in APAC including preparation of a suite of contracts the decommissioning and demolition of major contaminated facilities in Victoria and NSW.
- Pacific Energy: advising in relation to the negotiation and documentation of various BESS, wind and solar projects.
- Alinta: advising in relation to its Wagerup BESS development.
- Snowy 2.0: advising FGJV on the renegotiation and reset of the Snowy 2.0 project.
- Super Retail Group: advising on the delivery of an automated distribution centre including project structuring, AFL and Lease arrangements, negotiation of supply and operation arrangements with key offshore suppliers.
- BHP: advising on procurement of various solar, wind and BESS developments to power its Pilbara operations.
- Central West Orana REZ: advising the financiers to the Plenary consortium in relation to the EPC and O&M arrangements.
- Housing Choices Australia: advising HCA/HCWA on two ‘Build to rent’ mixed use, social and affordable housing developments with DevelopmentWA including negotiating the Development Deed and Property Tenancy Management Agreement.
- Goldwind: in relation to the EPC, TSI and O&M arrangements for development of wind farms in WA and QLD.
- AEMO: on its procurement strategy and tender for the development and operation of the transmission network for VNI West.
- Lynas: advising on the procurement of Gas, Diesel, BESS, Solar and wind assets to power its mine operations.
- One Circular Quay: advising Lendlease as project developer for the design and construction of a luxury hotel and residential tower in Circular Quay, including preparing and negotiating ECI agreements, interface agreements and a D&C contract.
- Quay Quarter Sydney: advising AMP on its D&C contracts for the 50 Bridge Street precinct (premium grade commercial tower) and Young & Loftus precinct (mixed use residential, commercial and retail).
- Perth Stadium: acting for the financiers of the successful consortium for the Perth Stadium PPP, including in relation to ongoing project delivery issues.
- Parramatta Light Rail: acting for TfNSW on the design, construction and maintenance works for Parramatta Light Rail project.
- Glencore: advising in relation to its electrification strategy and partnership agreement with ABB for a trial project in Lomas Bayas.
- Aurizon: advising as lead partner on its West Pilbara Iron Ore Project in relation to the development and operation of a rail and port facility including preparation of the infrastructure development agreement and infrastructure services agreement for the provision of a pit to port supply chain and the development of procurement, and construction tender packages.
