I started my journey with Mallesons in the Business Services team in Brisbane before completing the graduate program in 2019. I joined the Brisbane Corporate M&A team and enjoyed several years in this team before moving to London in 2022, followed by a stint at Tabcorp on my return to Australia. Today, I've come full circle and am back in the Mallesons Connexion network, working as Senior Legal Counsel in NAB's Capital & Funding Legal team.
I discovered Mallesons Connexion at a point when I was at a career crossroads and looking for a new challenge. Whilst I have worked on capital markets matters throughout my private practice career, Mallesons Connexion has given me the opportunity to specialise in the area and work closely with NAB's Treasury team (the powerhouse behind the bank’s funding and capital activities). The experience has reignited my passion for this type of work and opened up an exciting new career path that I'm keen to continue exploring.

I joined Mallesons Connexions in mid-2025, following a 2 year career break after 15 years in my previous role. As a client, I had always held Mallesons in the highest regard and enjoyed an excellent relationship with the firm. I was very proud therefore to become part of the Connexions team.

My placements have included a private company in the retail petroleum and property industries, a local subsidiary of a large HVAC and refrigerated transport multinational, and a listed company in the SaaS industry - differing greatly from that in which I had worked previously. They have involved an array of areas of law, have ranged from fully onsite to entirely remote, and included full time and part time roles. This diversity of experiences has enhanced my adaptability and provided invaluable insights for how I would like my career to evolve in the future.
