Emily is an experienced banking and finance and restructuring and insolvency lawyer. She has acted on a broad range of local and international financings, both for lenders and borrowers. She has extensive project financing experience and also acts on formal and informal restructuring and insolvency transactions. Emily has experience practising in Australia, Hong Kong and London.
Her matter highlights include:
- Major Australian utility company: Advising a major Australian utility company in relation to the financing and refinancing of its A$775 million syndicate facility.
- Talison Lithium: Advising the syndicate of lenders on the project financing of Talison’s A$700 million lithium processing plant in Kwinana, Western Australia and the refinancings, including the recent A$1 billion refinancing structured as corporate debt.
- Givaudan: Advising Givaudan on its issuance of €1 billion bonds comprising €500 million 1.000 per cent. bonds due 2027 and €500 million 1.625 per cent. bonds due 2032 and guaranteed by Givaudan SA.
- Calidus: Advising the receivers of Calidus on all aspects of the receivership including the debt sale to West Coast.
- WBHO/Probuild: Advising the voluntary administration on all aspects of the administration of WBHO Infrastructure Pty Ltd (Probuild’s WA arm) including the sale to SRG Global.
