Mandy specialises in insurance law and has acted for a number of domestic and international clients on contentious and non-contentious insurance matters. Her experience includes advising on insurance products, coverage issues and insurance disputes, in particular in relation to directors and officers liability, professional liability and cyber insurance.
Mandy also performs substantial regulatory advice work on insurance regulatory regimes and financial services regulation. She has advised on significant insurance issues in the industrials and consumer sector.
Mandy's work highlights include:
- Various ASX listed and multinational corporations: Advising deeds of indemnity arrangements.
- Two ASX listed entities: Advising on the establishment of captive insurers. This included regulatory advice, negotiating framework agreements and policy terms and conditions.
- ASX-listed multinational corporation: In relation to D&O coverage issues arising from an investigation by the Australian Federal Police.
- Regulatory advice work and preparation of submissions to regulators of local insurers, intermediaries and other manufacturers and distributors of risk management facilities.
- Advising on the D&O and PI programs for three of the Big 4 banks, a well-known Australian domiciled investment bank, a number of ASX listed entities including listed insurer and other financial service providers.
